Laura Maynadé Berga
Graduate in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University, he has been Coordinator of Visual Effects and Post-production of Digital Intermidiate (from 1999 to 2008) with direct participation in more than 30 national and international film production.
Together with all the VFX Visual Effects team, he was awarded two “Goya” prizes for the Best Visual Effects for the film “Buñuel and the King Solomon’s table” by Carlos Saura and “Mortadelo y Filemón” by Miguel Bardem. Among other productions, we highlight echo films such as “The Machinist” by Brad Anderson, “Fragile” by Jaume Balagueró or “El labirinto del Fauno” by Guillermo del Toro.
Trained in a classic method from the age of 13, in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona at the Tàrrega i Maldà Academies, by the painter Francesc Riart, continuing his studies at Illustration at the School of Arts and Crafts of Barcelona and He attended live model drawing classes at the UB Faculty of Fine Arts, always combining his professional activity linked to cinema with the personal path of Dibuix training.
Mercè de Riba i Bouvier
Born in Granollers, he moved to Barcelona when he began his studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. The studies of Agricultural Technical Engineering made him discover his passion for the design of the Landscape, which pushes him to continue studying until he obtained the title of Architecta in 1998 at the same University, where he obtained the Honor Matriculation in The subjects of Artistic Drawing and Projects. During the later years, he collaborates in different offices to direct a professional team of Architecture in a permanent way.
In 2006, he looks for new personal and vocational paths and starts teaching as a teacher preparing for Secondary School Professions while selecting the CAP as Drawing Professor, a task that has been successfully carried out since then in several regulated centers: a The Blancafort Academy, for the preparation for access to the Schools of Art and Design and the University for +25; At the LAI School of Design Work, of the International University of Catalonia as a lecturer in Descriptive Geometry and Cosmetic Perspective, and at the School of Art and Superior of Design Serra i Abella, of the Generalitat of Catalonia, as professor of Technical Drawing and Artistic Drawing at the Degree in Graphic Design and the Higher Cycle of Illustration and Audiovisual Animation.
